What to expect during your Carboxy appointment

PLEASE NOTE; the carboxy facial is a very intense treatment, it is ideally aimed for skins over 30+ as it is a fabulous treatment aimed at ageing skin. The sensation of the mask working is like a sensation never before experienced, it fizzes & can feel pretty intense for the first minute of activation - this is the product working, it will then settle to a nice warm feeling.

 Step 1 Cleanse

A soothing cleanser with botanical extracts is used to gently remove impurities and unnecessary sebum leaving skin feeling fresh and clean.

Step 2 - Gentle exfoliation

The enzymatic peeling gel provides deep and non-invasive skin cleansing, and gentle exfoliation, to unclog blocked pores and remove the top layer of dull dead skin cells, this helps improve tone and texture and prepare the skin for the application of the booster to create a more even penetration.

Step 3 – Carboxytherapy

Non-invasive thick Carboxytherapy Gel application and Carboxytherapy Activator mask is pressed firmly to create as much carbon dioxide as possible. The Mask remains on for 25 minutes.

Step 4 – Tone

After removing the mask any residue is wiped away with HYAL+ toner. Retinol Day Cream is applied which has a slow release of encapsulated retinol for zero sensitivity in the day. Based on the latest peptide technology this powerful anti-ageing cream is perfect for combating and preventing the signs of ageing, smoothing skin, and restoring radiance.

Step 5 – Protect.

Finally, our Sun Shield Cream (SPF 30), provides effective all-day protection against harmful UVA & UVB rays, thanks to its 13-hour formula.

Added botanical extracts nourish and moisturise the skin.

For troubled skin the Quantum LED can be added to this treatment on the Blue, Green or Yellow LED (Red is not required with this treatment).

To optimise and maintain skin health between treatments, we recommend the CLINICCARE daily home care regime which contains low molecular weight Hyaluronic acid, Antioxidants, Vitamins and Peptides with Epidermal Growth Factors.
