Abronhill Regeneration Forum

Abronhill Regeneration Forum (ARF), registered charity SCO32872, is a group of 9 volunteers whose objectives are to promote the benefit of the inhabitants and its environs by assisting the local statutory authorities, other voluntary organisations and the inhabitants in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities and amenities in the interest of social welfare for recreation and other leisure-time occupations, so that conditions of life may be improved.

I am one of the volunteers, which in turn means my family (aka Team Ohh!) are regularly called on to assist and do so willingly i have to add therefore i take my hat off to them and to the families of the other 8 volunteers who rally for every fundraising or event we do.

Ohh! as a local business supports the ARF, with our time, with promotion, with fundraising, with raffle prizes at every event and of course our Mike Molar Mascot, who at Christmas is usually accompanied by ARF’s ‘Ginger’ the gingerbread man and sometimes a helpful elf, Mike’s toothbrush and toothpaste pals often make an appearance. Ohh! is focused on promotion of health and prevention of disease and we use every opportunity we can to gift tiny toothpastes, sometimes toothbrushes, advice leaflets with money off vouchers for toothpaste, stickers and fun toothbrush activity charts.

ARF are constantly working behind the scenes and we are always massively grateful for any help or donations that can be utilised towards making the community a better place to live, be it raffle/tombola prizes, monetary donations into the ARF account, taking a stall at one of our events, stage acts for our events, something you could teach the community, trades who could assist with some of our projects, the list is probably endless.
