Carboxytherapy originated in French spas in the 1930’s and usually involves the injecting of carbon dioxide into the skin to treat stretchmarks, cellulite, fatty deposits, under eye bags, wrinkles. The Ohh! Carboxy however using CLINICCARE Carboxytherapy science is completely non-invasive and includes 2 products – a gel that is applied in a thick and even layer on the face and then an activator mask which is pressed firmly onto the gel.

The interface of the gel and mask produces a specific amount of carbon dioxide which is infused into the skin.

By infusing carbon dioxide into the skin, an acidic environment develops. This signals our organism to increase the flow of oxygen to the treated region and promotes natural growth factors (vascular endothelial growth factors).

This results in:

·        Elastin stimulation.

·        Tissue tightening and brightening.

·        Skin regeneration.

·        Reduction of dark under eye circles.

·        Improvement in circulation.

Please note;

This treatment is not suitable for acne patients who take Roaccutane (or other acne medication) as the skin is overly sensitive and thin.

Not suitable for patients with Rosacea as it may be painful for them.

Contraindications as per normal facials/peels, eczema, dermatitis, pregnant, breastfeeding, cancer, chemotherapy, skin infections, excessively sensitive skin, open wounds, or scrapes.

There is no need to use the Red anti-inflammatory LED, Carboxytherapy is already anti-inflammatory, however the Blue, Green & Yellow LED are shown to be of fabulous value and can be added to this treatment.
